Sessional Support Workers (SWEP) Sessional Support Workers (SWEP) – Waking Nights: Gloucestershire SWEP – Severe Weather Emergency Protocol – is designed to provide emergency overnight shelter for rough sleepers during severe weather episodes. In preparation for winter, we are recruiting for sessional workers to work alongside our current Outreach team based in Gloucestershire. You will be required to help prepare the night shelter, receive and register those accessing the service and conduct welfare checks throughout the night (half hourly checks). The following the morning, you will close down the site ensuring service user engagement with outreach team. Tidy and secure night shelter, ready for its next use. Waking Night, shifts finishing at 8am. Hourly rate of £10 plus holiday pay. There is also the opportunity to offer Support Worker within the county before, during and after SWEP.
