Hours : Part-time (30 hours per week)

Salary : £17,550 - £19,000 (pro rata) + benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Community Based Support Service to join our team as a Rent Ready Trainer. 

As the Rent-Ready Trainer you will be supporting our services by ensuring that our homeless clients and care leavers can attain a tenancy, and sustain long-term independent living.  You will achieve this by ensuring our clients have the necessary tools and skill sets to live an independent and fulfilled life, through shaping them into suitable long term tenants for social housing and/or improving their standing with private landlords.

You will be supported by our trained staff and volunteers to deliver the nationally recognised and accredited Crisis rent-ready training, as one-to-one or group sessions at our supported accommodation sites or community based in Gloucestershire and Dorset, South Gloucestershire and Bristol.

The role can be done remotely with our main locations in Cheltenham and Gloucester, however travel will be expected to provide training at our other service locations. 

This opportunity would suit a person who has an awareness of the impact of homelessness, demonstrates an adaptive and empathetic communication style and has some experience of leading on training delivery.
