2021 Hamper Scamper Review

CCP's annual Hamper Scamper campaign seeks to relieve some of the financial and emotional burden of Christmas on families and individuals who are already struggling. We believe that nobody should go without at Christmas. Our aim is to encourage our community to come together to provide hope to those in need.

Take on the Cheltenham Challenge in support of our frontline workers

“We were very disappointed to have to cancel the event last year, but with the announcement of the first lockdown, it was absolutely the right decision,” adds Liz Thatcher, Race Director and CCP Engagement Manager. “The 2019 event saw 1200 participants enter raising over £12,000 to help those accessing CCP services. Thank You Worcester Community Foundation

25th September 2020

We are so grateful to have received a £5000 grant from the Worcester Community Foundation. The grant allowed us to employ an extra member of staff for 1 day a week over 12 weeks to help us support homeless individuals who were placed in local hotels as part of the Government’s “Everyone In” campaign, in response to COVID-19. Our Community Wellbeing Team work in partnership with Warm & Well to provide free energy advice to the people who most need it across Gloucestershire. Izzy & Dave's Ultra Marathon in Aid of CCP

On the 29th August our amazing supporters Izzy and Dave will be attempting an Ultra Marathon following the beautiful, but very vertically challenging, Cotswold Way all to help raise essential funds for our work. Should we do a SleepOut 2020?

On 9th March this year we announced plans for SleepOut 2020 (read more here) but then the world was turned on its head by COVID-19 which left us with a number of uncertainties.  In light of this we want to seek the views of previous participants and the wider public on some possible options we   are considering. Community Involvement During the Lockdown

Our Community Based Support (CBS) Team have been maintaining regular contact with their clients in Gloucester, Tewkesbury and Forest of Dean to check in on their welfare and wellbeing during these unprecedented times. With Zoom quizzes and online Art classes they have been able to provide emotional support and have taken on a befriending role in these local communities. Read the full article here
