As Chairman of CCP I am delighted to see this event taking place.

Helping the homeless is at the heart of CCP’s mission because homelessness devastates lives.

Homeless people on average die at 47 years old and are over nine times more likely to commit suicide than the general population.

Common causes of homelessness are losing a job, mental or physical health problems, or drug abuse. When people leave the army, care or prison or a violent relationship they can suddenly find themselves with nowhere to live.

October 10th is World Homeless Day and sleeping out is our opportunity to draw attention to a problem which should not be prevalent in a civilised world and to raise money to help those who need our support the most.

Please donate what you can to help homeless adults and children have safety, warmth and a place to call home… the right of every human being.
