Salary – £17k pro-rata (plus benefits)
Hours – 22.5 hours pw Monday to Friday (9.30am-2.30pm)
Location – Cheltenham

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Finance Administrator, with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.

You will be required to work on your own initiative and take responsibility for: sales invoicing, credit control, banking, and contract and donor correspondence as detailed below. You will also assist with payroll, ordering goods and other areas of finance work as required.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Finance
• Sales ledger invoicing and credit control
• Weekly bank reconciliation and monthly reconciliations
• Cashier Duties, including banking
• Donor administration including sending thank you letters
• Contract administration – maintaining an up-to-date file of contracts and reporting back to funders
• Assist with administration of purchase orders
• Support with year-end audit requirements
• Dealing with ad hoc administration tasks as required


Payroll
• New Starter set ups
• Data inputting of monthly timesheets
• Administration of pension letters, sickness and leavers
• Issue payslips
• BACS uploads for salaries and HMRC

Requirements
• Working knowledge of excel is essential
• Experience in finance administration, in particular credit control, is essential
• Knowledge/experience of Sage payroll and Sage accounts would be advantageous
