At CCP we offer the following food provisions to help families or individuals facing an immediate crisis. This could be anyone who has suddenly found themselves facing poverty and hunger due to loss of salary, change in benefits, unexpected large bills, illness or family breakdown. Whatever the crisis we will always be there for them.

Pantry Project

Our Pantry Project opened in July 2019 as an alternative to the standard food parcel. Often these parcels are full of tins and unhealthy foods as a short-term measure for the person in need. Within our “corner shop” situated at our Head Office in 340 High Street, Cheltenham, members can choose from fresh meat, dairy, fruit and vegetables, to the value of approximately £15, for £3.50 a week. By visiting the Pantry each week, our support workers can develop a relationship with the clients and signpost them to other services that can provide debt, housing, mental health and family support. Emergency FoodShare

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant effect on people’s ability to access food whether that was due to a loss of income or because of a risk to health. At CCP, we began a delivery service to our Pantry Members and anybody else across Gloucestershire who needed our support. The food parcels included long-life products as well as fresh meat, dairy, fruit and vegetables. The service ran from April – July 2021 with those affected being invited to join our Pantry Project. Can You Donate?

To provide the above, we rely on the generosity of our supporters and the local community. If you are able to, please drop any donations to 340 High Street, Cheltenham, GL50 3JF. The office is open 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday. If you need a collection please contact [email protected] to arrange.

Hamper Scamper

The CCP Hamper Scamper appeal seeks to spread the spirit of Christmas and give hope by providing seasonal food parcels to those in need. We receive referrals from CCP projects and external agencies and provide a festive hamper in time for Christmas. Find Out More
