On Tuesday 15th August, a team of young people who are engaged on the National Citizen Service (NCS) programme will be holding a fundraising coffee afternoon at our Wellbeing Centre, 340 Lower High Street, Cheltenham, GL50 3JF.

Taking place between 1pm and 4pm, the coffee and cake afternoon aims to raise funds to buy toiletries for the homeless young people CCP works with in Gloucestershire.

Personal hygiene is just one of the issues that we address with young homeless people as part of their transition to adulthood and independent living. The NCS team are very passionate about young people being educated about the importance of personal hygiene and personal presentation, and see this as a great way of helping us address this issue and support young homeless people.

The NCS team are doing several events including a sponsored walk from Gloucester to Cheltenham and supermarket toiletry collections at local supermarkets.

To support this event, just drop-in to CCP at 340 High Street between 1pm and 4pm on Tuesday 15th August. We will also gratefully accept donations of any unopened toiletries.

Booking for this event has now closed.
