The CCP SleepOut is an event to raise awareness of the issues facing rough sleepers in the county whilst raising funds to help CCP tackle the problem.

We're asking up to 100 business leaders from Gloucestershire to join us for one night and take part in a fundraising event that will help CCP to prevent homelessness whilst supporting those who are already homeless into sustainable accommodation.

Wednesday 10th October 2018 – World Homeless Day

Join us at the iconic Kingsholm Stadium, home of Gloucester Rugby, for a night sleeping out in the open.

Challenge yourself to raise at least £1,000 to rough sleep in as genuine conditions as possible and go to work the next day as normal. All proceeds raised will go to help CCP carry out their vital work which includes providing accommodation for homeless young people and pioneering work with families to help prevent homelessness in the first place.

"If you only do one Charity Challenge in 2018, make it this one."

Information from Public Policy Exchange demonstrates the scale of the problem in the UK “The spike in homelessness and rough sleeping throughout this decade is a source of deep disquiet and concern. In 2015/16 local authorities reported responding to the threat of, or actual homelessness, for 327,390 households, up from 254,320 in 2009/10. Similarly, rough sleeping has increased by 102% over the same period. Latest figures suggest these rises show no sign of abating, 4134 people were documented sleeping rough in Autumn 2016, rising 16% in 12 months.

CCP believes that a successful family life is the foundation on which strong communities are made. A safe and stable home is the foundation that enables a family to be successful. However, too many families are in temporary and unstable housing and, therefore, too many children are being negatively impacted by their accommodation circumstances.

You can help those who find themselves in this situation and help CCP prevent homelessness. Spaces are strictly limited and demand is expected to be high. To register your interest in supporting CCP SleepOut:
