Partnerships & Compacts
Traditionally the voluntary sector has a long history of working in partnership. The National Compact is seen as the most appropriate mechanism for more mutually beneficial relationships between the Voluntary and Statutory Sector partners. CCP is supporting the development of local Compacts throughout Leicestershire and Rutland. We already have a Compact with the Leicestershire County Council.
CCP is actively involved in a number of key partnerships including the Leicestershire Local Strategic Partnership, the Leicestershire Economic Partnership, various Health & Social Care Partnerships, Early Years Childcare and Development Partnership.
CCP has developed a range of partnerships and networks to maximise the voluntary and community sector's involvement in the policy arena - and examples include specialist Health Forums, Learning & Skills Consortium, Early Years Network and the CVS User Bug Forum.
