Older Person's Month
Engagement & Involvement with Older People in Leicestershire & Rutland 2009
Older Person's Month takes place in September each year. There are a whole range of events aimed at older people during the month. These take place across Leicestershire & Rutland. They include a number of older person's meetings, leisure, sporting and health promotion activity days. Throughout the month, older people have the chance to talk about their experience with public services and any changes they believe would benefit the community.
Review of last year's programme and plans for 2009 are under way. If you are reading this and would like to be kept informed of plans for this year, or wish to organise something to be included, please contact Liz McGregor as below. Deadline for inclusion of entries for the programme booklet is 17 July 2009.
