The Leicester Shire Voluntary and Community Sector Learning & Skills Consortium is a forum for voluntary and community sector organisations in Leicester Shire that have an interest in Learning & Skills
The overall purpose of the Consortium is to help enable voluntary and community organisations in Leicester Shire to have equal access to information and funding for learning and training.
The consortium meets quarterly at present to share information and news and discuss strategy. More importantly, the consortium has a large email network and regularly produces and circulates information on learning opportunities, funding possibilities and key policy areas
As well as voluntary and community sector members, our meetings are also attended various organisations from the learning and skills sector. Our key partners include the Leicestershire and Leicester City Learning Partnership, FE colleges and our key funder, the Leicestershire Learning & Skills Council. These partner organisations also feed into our email network.
