Leicestershire Children and Young People's Board

The Leicestershire Children and Young People’s Board (CYPB) is the ‘top-level’ multi-agency board of partners leading the Leicestershire local authority area into children’s trust arrangements. The VCS Children & Young People’s Services Forum has 3 seats on the CYPB, to help represent the interests of the Voluntary & Community Sector. VCS representatives to fill these three seats are democratically selected.

The VCS Children & Young People’s Services Forum also has a seat on the multi-agency Executive group (the Children and Young People’s Service Executive) which is accountable to the Leicestershire Children and Young People’s Board. Currently the three VCS Forum representatives on the CYPB share the responsibility for this seat.
