There is a lot of interest, debate and discussion on the provision of health and social care in Leicestershire. There are many voluntary and community groups in Leicestershire that do a variety of work on and around health and social care provision.

This Forum brings those groups together so that they can meet and discuss issues of common concerns and or share information.

The Health Forum is open to any voluntary & community organisation in Leicestershire who has an interest in health and social care issues. It meets every two months, usually at Action Deafness, and anyone from a voluntary organisation is welcome to attend.

Meetings are informal and there are opportunities for people to raise issues or give out information. Speakers are invited to talk about a range of topics. We have good links with the Leicestershire County & Rutland Primary Care Trust, Leicestershire Social Services, Leicestershire Together and is a valuable source of information as well as a useful way of feeding in views and concerns to the statutory bodies
