Health and Social Care
The Health & Social Care Team supports the effective involvement of the voluntary & community sector in the planning and development of health and social care services, primarily in Leicestershire and Rutland but in some cases working to Leicester City...
The Health & Social Care Team work in different ways but can be summarised as:
- Co-ordinating and supporting the representation of the voluntary & community sectors' interests on health and social care.
- Supporting partnership working between the voluntary & community sector and statutory service deliverers of health and social care.
- Ensuring and enabling the input of the voluntary & community sector into the development of health and social care policy.
The Health & Social Care Team
The ‘specialist workers’ based at CCP are part of a wider ‘Integrated’ Team, of ‘Generic workers’ who are based in the Voluntary Actions in Leicestershire and Rutland. This enables co-operative working and ensures a wide involvement of voluntary & community groups in health and social care planning.
