Advocacy Training & Support Network
working across Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland

The Advocacy Training & Support Network brings together organisations that provide independent advocacy services. The Network has produced an Advocacy Charter, which defines a set of core principles for advocacy and which has been adopted by all advocacy organisations.

Member organisations provide advocacy support to a wide range of client groups, which include:

  • People with Disabilities
  • People who experience Mental Health problems
  • People in long-term care
  • Older People
  • Children and Young People with disabilities
  • Carers
  • Young Carers
  • More About Advocacy

    Advocacy is taking action to help people say what they want, secure their rights, represent their interests and obtain services they need.

  • Advocacy Charter

  • Advocacy Network Meetings

    The Network brings together advocacy organisations that provide or wish to develop advocacy support as a significant aspect of their work
