Advocacy Network Meetings
The Network brings together advocacy organisations that provide or wish to develop advocacy support as a significant aspect of their work.
We have the following broad aims:
- To facilitate effective networking between advocacy organisations
- To promote good practice and information sharing across the advocacy sector
- To promote the positive aspects of advocacy
- To work together for the benefit of our clients
- To raise awareness of advocacy support within statutory and voluntary sectors and to the general public

Practical operation of the Network revolves around:
- Bi-monthly meetings, serviced by CVS Community Partnership and Chaired by Sonia Bray from CLASP The Carers Centre
- Working to an Action Plan
- An e-network/contact database
- The CCP website (this website)
- Facilitation of events
- Invited speakers
